Our Careful Plant Selection

We believe that healing starts with the plant itself. That's why we focus on special cannabis strains with a natural 1:1 balance of THC and CBD - nature's perfect recipe for gentle yet effective relief. We carefully blend different 1:1 strains together, creating a richer spectrum of beneficial compounds that work in harmony. Our selection process focuses on:
  • Perfect 1:1 THC:CBD harmony: Balanced for optimal therapeutic effects
  • Strong, healthy genetics: Ensuring resilient and potent plants
  • Complementary strain profiles: Blending for enhanced benefits
  • Rich therapeutic compounds: Maximizing healing potential
  • Natural growing potential: Cultivated for purity and effectiveness
By combining multiple 1:1 strains, we create an oil that offers more complete support for your body's natural healing systems. Every plant we select is grown with intention and care, becoming part of your healing journey.

Growing with Love and Care

We nurture our plants the way nature intended - pure and simple. Our organic growing practices create an environment where each plant can reach its full therapeutic potential, free from any harmful chemicals or pesticides.
Our natural approach includes:
  • Rich, living soil: Full of beneficial organisms
  • Natural pest management: Through companion planting
  • Hand-watering: With filtered spring water
  • Small-batch cultivation: For better attention
  • Careful environmental control: For optimal growth
These mindful practices ensure that our plants develop the perfect balance of cannabinoids and terpenes, ultimately providing you with the most effective and pure medicine possible.

Our Extraction Process

We believe great medicine should be accessible to all. That's why we're sharing our complete extraction method - the same careful process we use to create every bottle of oil in our workshop. Whether you're just curious about how we make your medicine or want to try it yourself at home, here's exactly how we do it.

Step-by-Step Guide

While many choose to infuse cannabis directly in oil, we take an extra step for quality. We first extract with food-grade ethanol because it's significantly better at drawing out the beneficial compounds from the plant. Once we've captured these compounds, we completely evaporate the ethanol and infuse the extract into MCT oil - a healthy, easily absorbed carrier oil that helps deliver the healing properties effectively.

What You'll Need

Main Ingredients

  • 5 grams cannabis (ideally 10% THC and 10% CBD strain)
  • 100 ml 96% food-proof ethanol
  • 58 ml MCT oil (this will stretch the THC concentration to <0.9%)

Equipment

  • Clean glass jar
  • Glass baking tray
  • Magnetic hot-plate-stirrer
  • Coffee filters
  • Small container (~100 ml)
  • 6 x 10 ml bottles

The Process

  1. Prepare the Cannabis: Grind the cannabis into small pieces, but not too fine - this would clog the filters. We use in our lab a vacuum filtration system. A coffee filter should do the job as well.
  2. Decarboxylation: Spread ground cannabis evenly on a glass baking tray. Heat in the oven at 110°C for 40 minutes to activate the cannabinoids. Ideally check your oven's temperature with a thermometer since it can differ from the setting.
  3. Ethanol Extraction: Place decarboxylated cannabis in a clean glass jar. Cover completely with 96% food-proof ethanol, 100 ml should be enough.
  4. Initial Stirring: Place jar on a magnetic hot-plate-stirrer and stir for 1 hour without applying heat.
  5. Filtration: Filter the cannabis-ethanol mixture through coffee filters to remove any plant material. Take time to strain all liquid for maximum yield.
  6. Optional: Chlorophyll Reduction: For clearer oil, place jar in direct sunlight for 1 hour. This step is optional and turns the color of the oil from green into a beautiful golden tone. It also reduces the bitterness in taste.
  7. Ethanol Evaporation: Gently heat the solution to evaporate ethanol. Ideally you use a distiller to capture all evaporated ethanol for future uses. Keep an eye on the temperature.
  8. Final Evaporation: Continue until temperature rises above 78°C. This indicates all ethanol has evaporated.
  9. Adding MCT Oil: Carefully add 58 ml MCT oil using droppers. Don't use syringes to avoid splashing around. Trust us, we know what we're talking about. ;-)
  10. Final Steps
    • Stir mixture on very low heat for 15 minutes to ensure thorough blending
    • Watch carefully: When stirring stops, the solution may bubble. You want to avoid that.

    • Fill the bottles using a dropper
    • Each bottle will provide approximately ~0,5 mg THC and ~0,5 mg CBD per drop

Storage

Store filled bottles in a cool, dark place. Ensure bottles are tightly sealed when not in use.

Extracting first with ethanol requires more time and care than direct oil infusion, but we believe the superior results are worth the extra effort.
